3 1/2' Bunny I made for my Sister's birthday

I'M HOOKED
on needle-felting

sigh

yes, that's what I needed

another obsession thrown into the mix

that includes a dollhouse
that is not being constructed

and everything that involves loving and training

(or as Mr. J. says BEING trained myself)

a new puppy

** insert newest photo taken at her 5 month mark

just after her bath

and the only nano-second she was still
 ~~
Anyhoo,

back to the obsession...
placed in the gift box on a bed of Angelina
In bloglandia I discovered an artisan

that totally blew me away with her work

she makes the most darling of critters

and my heart melted.....

and I knew that the craft I had been ignoring,

(even though I had one of those felting brush pad do-hickies)

was now going to come front and center

and the best thing of all

Barby offers a fabulous tutorial class

Can I just say that it's one of the

very best, EVER!!

wonderful photos

great instructions

and just enough humor inserted

to illicit a chuckle or two.

So I want to encourage you to visit Barby's blog

and if you have been putting off needle felting

like I was...

run, without hesitation

and treat yourself to her class

but if you still don't want to start another hobby

you can bid on one of her darlings on Ebay.

Oh, and just an FYI
keep a few band-aids close by

because if you think you won't jab yourself

with the crazy needle...

think again.!!

Hi Rella, Your bunny is just so sweet. I have been an admire of her work, I first saw it on flickr, oh you did a really beautiful job. Oh Miss Luna is so sweet. I could just squeeze her. Have a wonderful week and thanks for sharing your beautiful bunny. Hugs, Terri

Oh Rella! Two cuties in one post! Your little bunny is so sweet. I am sure you are in your element there! And Luna is looking so adorable! Oh my! She is all fluffed and smelling sweet after her bath. I hope she is doing well.

Rella,
Your baby is just beautiful and you
take such good care of her!!! They do wear you out.

I LOVE your needle-felting. I don't need another obsession right now but this would be it if I could. It always looks so hard to me! I am obsessed with making mixed-media postcards...go figure.

Jud starts round two tomorrow. Hope it goes well. The first one did.

xo,
Suz

I've thought about her tutorial, but am afraid of the time commitment.

Rella ~
I took a felting class last summer and I adored it! You've made such a delightful creature in your bunny. And the puppy is darling too!

Rella, I just LOVE your little bunny!!! I've been toying with the idea of felting, but haven't had the time. Thanks so much for the link, I'm heading there now :-)
