Little Lulibug after spay surgery |
WHY I AM MIA
Well, little Miss Lulibug
had her big girl surgery
and she did really, really well
but I was a bit of a ..........worry wart
'Sissy-Pia' was not worried at all
Miss Luli acted like nothing
really happened.
so the challenge was keeping her quiet.
Next I share what I love to walk through
this time of year
yellow-flower-'snow'
this is heading TO work
and this is the best feeling........
LEAVING work.
the most fun thing is
that as you walk under the trees
the wind gently blows them down upon you
and I walk in the building
with a crown of dainty, orchid-like flowers
and there is magic in that.

Best wishes for Luna's recovery! She will settle down more now that she has had it done.
Beautiful tree! Do you know what kind of tree it is?
Hugs,
Terri
I can tell you are thoroughly enjoying your little dog! She is PRECIOUS! And the kitty too.
The trees are marvelous.
hugs,
Caroline
thank you Terri, and Caroline.
Terri, these are Palo Verde trees. Although I heard once that all the trees we have are really bushes....not sure about that. But the Palo Verde are lovely. The flowers look like little orchids and the soft needle like leaves look like fairy gauze. I really love them.

Your puppy looks great after surgery . Aren't trees & bushes wonderful ! A fantastic invention on God's part! We have the tallest trees ever by our driveway . My Dave planted them as sticks less than 20 inches tall & Rella when it is 90 degrees here & we drive in the yard to a comforting canopy ! Wow!It cuts the heat to about 65 degrees I think ! Well it feels great like that! Flower snow is the Best & I mean that living here where real snow happens :o) I prefer apple blossom snow ! The fragrance is amazing!Apple blossom snow happens each year after Mother's Day !Hugs, Rhonda
Hope your little girl is feeling all better!

Hi Rella, Oh poor Miss Luna, I hope she is doing better. I love trees that have flowers, I always look forward to them in the spring. Thanks for sharing. Have a wonderful week. Hugs, Terri
Hi Rella,
I thought I answered this but i am a space cadet. I am also reminded that you just wrote me about Jud ...actually quite a few days ago! He is doing pretty well. He is holding on to weight, that is good. Did I tell you that e switched chemos and is on Gemzar and Abraxine (after a fight with insurance about Abraxine for PC. He is having trouble with neutrapenia and could not have chemo this monday which worries us. He is doing daily Neupigen at home but his platelets are low. That is a worry. We will see how he goes next Monday. As usual, we are having to look at the possible "next step" which will maybe be a hedgehog inhibitor trial at Mayo. We have heard there are some doctors at Mayo to be avoided. Not sure what to think. It's a hard road...
Little Luna looks so cute! I have forgotten how hard those baby years are. Harvey spent Saturday night in the animal hospital after eating a chocolate bar, A great big gourmet one. Her blood pressure was very high. We were really scared, but all is well. He is such a little pig! And we are such dumb humans for leaving it where he could make his way to it!
Big hugs and thanks for asking!!!!
oh what a sweetie! Speedy recovery!
Hugs,
Maryjane
