THIRD IN MY ART GIFT AWAY

Some of you know that one of my favorite artists of today is Misty Mawn and once in a while I create something following her wonderful technique outlined in the magazine Cloth Paper Scissors. I'm still not sure if I love the background ideas more or the collage technique. It doesn't matter much, really, but I always wonder after the project is completed because both parts of the process totally excite me. Sometimes I have so many layers of background that I want to stop and just save the piece as is because it's stunning all alone.
So here it is, my latest little piece, yours for the winning. Leave your name in the comment section in order to be put in the hat to draw at the end of the week.

Bonne Chance!
(Please note that I retain the right to use copies of these original pieces that I am giving away. I expect that you will not copy or use as your own. It's a code of honor)

Do you know what issue that article is in ???? I'm sure I have it....but with your help I won't have to search as long !!!
And thanks for your note....I've been working on more pages for the past 4 hours....I just love putting them together !! But now I need to add the writing which takes a bit longer as it forces me to really think !!!

Beth: Silly me, I forgot to tell you all which CPS. It's Summer 06, Issue 7, (It's a green colored issue with a dimensional-cloth piece on the front. Look through pages 18 to 26. One of the best articles ever. Actually, this is a GREAT issue. Keep up the journaling!

Rella, I popped in via Beth's blog and she was right, I liked you right away! Last year my friends Judy and Francie and I met and created some pieces in Misty's style. Judy and Francie's were wonderful and completed. I got carried away by the process of the background and did several. I'm going to have to post it to my blog after Heroes tonight! ~Denise

Oh my gosh Rella! I love this piece!!! It came out wonderful! I read that issue and wanted to try it but I was a little intimidated. Maybe I will. Are you going to submit it for the challenge? You should!
