Hello dear friends in the blogging world
it has been far, far too long
since my last visit.
We are long overdue for a chat.

2015 seems a blur
365 days and nights - come and gone.

So, lets start with a highlight of the year.

There was one bit of travel...

SWA heading East to Austin
a sweet visit with my daughter in Austin
My hand in hers
and a first time use of airbnb
which was fabulous!!
I highly recommend it.

I found a little cottage not far from where she lives..
just big enough for a sleep over
so we could spend quality time together

Center of the cottage - seating area

Looking out to kitchen - bathroom was to the left of the kitchen

looking from the kitchen area down to super comfy Murphy Bed
directly above is a loft with the second bed

writing desk

This darling cottage had absolutely EVERYTHING one could ever need.

right down to a perfect pasta bowl for a yummy dinner we made
Penne with olive oil, roasted yellow peppers,
asparagus, kalamata olives - topped with Romano cheese
mmmmmmmmmmmmm

ingredients purchased at the most wonderful place -
Central Market!!
Oh, how I loved that place.  LOVE!!
How I wish we had one here.

Look at the bread they turn out!!!
heavenly.

Vietnamese coffee - swoon

I had this wonderful coffee each day of my little visit and I crave it still.

She treated me to this modern ballet - wonderful

After a little tour of the downtown area,
we went to this fabulous
modern ballet.  It was wonderous to sit next to my girl
and share this.

After the show we went for Thai food - delish!

The cottage had Wi-Fi
so we both stayed connected,
and while it rained or was overcast every day
I didn't mind a bit....

because I was with my little bird.

One evening we met up with her circle of friends -
an amazing and close group
and I felt so happy that she had these
great people around her always
and I felt touched to the deepest part of my heart
that she wanted to introduce me
and THEY wanted to meet.

The cottage had a selection of movies to watch
and music to play.
One could literally pack only a suitcase of clothes
everything else was there in the cottage.

It was a place that I could imagine myself living in..
just enough space
and so cozy and comfortable.

It was not enough time with my girl, however,
it never is.....

but the time was the making of a beautiful memory
and I am so very grateful we had it.

And now...I promise.......I will be back soon
with more of what has been going on
at Faerieluna
&
to refresh the look
remove some entries on the blog roll and add some new ones.

My two Petite Wanderling custom Blythe girls - yes, I still photograph my dolls
