Such affection

for these two dolls

it's crazy

 Snow, my first custom, 

stole my heart from the moment I dreamed of her..

..and throughout the process

of carving and working in color

her place in my heart grew.

But then a tiny ball jointed doll came along

I created a little wig from mohair

and a dress from silk chiffon 

and a crochet top - dyed a gentle ballet pink 

I know for sure I would have loved them as a child

I also know for sure that the child has remained.
