I PROMISE NOT TO BE TOO PATHETIC

As I write, the clan now consists of:

The Amazing SPIKE ~

a crown tailed Beta Fighting Fish

who keeps me company at work

The Aloof Miss Pia ~

Brat Cat

who will turn 3 next month

Her favorite hobby: hissing at my son, Ryan
when he and his wife visit

followed closely by crashing into one of our bedroom doors
until it opens so she can go in and lay on the bed
or sit in the window

The Finch Couple

Bella & Pip
A Christmas gift from Mr. J

Their favorite hobby:  reproducing
I have to recover eggs every week

AND NOW........

Miss Luna Bella

Clearly Bella is one of my favorite names

I already find myself calling her Lunybelly
since her little belly is round
Her favorite hobby: being held
and licking my hands, face, neck
and biting my buttons

Today was her first bath here at the nest

She was good
very trembling
(her, too!!)

and even allowed the blow dryer routine

but she draws the line on the pony tail
and bow right now.
This is her glam shot once she was all dry
posing on the blanket she arrived with

Here she is in her play pen
It's actually two Iris play pens linked together

It's rare to get this close without her jumping for joy
and wanting to be picked up

But she was in total trance mode after bath
exhausted and in and out of sleep for hours

That's what I should have done,
taken a nap!!!!

This Baby Mama is exhausted.

I'm sure you've heard this before, many years previously, but "you should nap when she does". Remember those words of wisdom?

Rella, she is precious, and I can see, very much loved. What a lovely play pen...roomy, toys,blanket...She's going to love her new home.

Thank you for the update, and the great photos.

Have fun,
Marianne xo

Oh Rella, She is just the cutest, they are the sweetest dogs. They don't have a nasty or mean bone in their sweet little bodies. I know you both are enjoying each other. Thanks for sharing her with us. Have a wonderful day. Hugs, Terri

Rella,
I love her and love her name. They do have wonderful bellies. They are very much like babies and require a lot of attention the first few months. I forgot about that part!
Big hugs and rest,
Suz

Ahhh, Rella, she's gorgeous!
Lovely play pen, she doesn't seem to appreciate 'bath-time' but looks much happier in her glamour shot! xxx
