A RECENT SWAP

Cindy at Thimbleprims hosted a dollie swap

and something about the pattern

from HERE just made me smile

I am not much into 'prim's really

but we could do up the pattern

any way we wanted.

My swap partner was Vivian

and this is the doll she made for me
She is just darling

She looks like someone's Auntie, right"

and Viv included a little heart ornie that I so love
and a ginormous candy bar

wooohooooo!

Thank you, Viv, I have her displayed in my little kitchen cupboard

The doll I made for Viv

A sad little shot taken with my phone

I have no idea why I did not use my camera

Her hair is really soft Tibetan Mohair

The apron is made from a vintage organza and lace collar

I adore the cotton print of tiny ladybugs with hearts

on their little spots...don't you?!

Her little bloomers were made from linen

and a bit of tiny, tatted lace was hand sewn to the edge.

Her shoes are painted on

and they seemed to need a little bling

So tiny flowers with Swarovsky beads were in order.

I really enjoyed this little dollie time.......

thank you Viv for being my partner

and thank you Cindy, for hosting

I love dolls and both of these are delightful. What a treasure to give and what a treasure to receive.
