We all have them

Objects of desire

to some of us

this is just another opportunity

to make yet another list

I find that in keeping a list

objects of desire

and referring to it from time to time

two things happen

I revise it by either deleting items

or I move one to the top of the list

where it stays

for me to keep it planted in my thought process

........A wish to the universe

A checks and balances ritual.

When an item stays for a long period of time

I am SURE beyond a shadow of a doubt that

said item is something that will bring me joy

and then it comes to pass.

I guess you could say it passes the

JOY TEST

Soon I will be able to happily cross

Santos Cage Doll

off my list........

Because she is on her way

and will soon take her awaited place of honor

on the mantle at the nest

Her kind face will bring me joy

each and every day.

And who knows,
maybe the cream colored Santos Cage doll
will join her some day.

For now I am content with this one

object of desire

.....a piece of joy.

Rella, these dolls are gorgeous! I don't think I have ever seen them before.
I love your list of desires. What a great test too, seeing how long it is on the list and how long at the top. Your joy test is fab!
Life is so exciting with so many possibilities,so many options!

Terri

I've always wanted one myself. I'm so glad you can check that desire off your list.

Rella, I have always wanted a Santos. Those are both so beautiful. I think we get carried away with things that we want but something like this is so full of feeling and meaning. You willnhave to show us where you put her!

Rella, what amazing dolls! I like your idea about a list of desires...
It really would be a test of which desires are truly important.
O, I think I'll do that, too.

Enjoy the day,
Marianne

A list of desires, I like that :-)

Your Santos doll is fabulous. I always think of their skirts as cages for wishes and dreams... maybe even for desires?..... :-)
