A Loss To The Doll Making World

Hannie Sarris, an extraordinary doll artist
left this life May 2nd.

Truly one of the most amazing creators of faeries
I have ever come across.

I used to study her pieces back when I tried
my hand at sculpting and wondered HOW she captured such
beauty. Few held a candle to her.

An amazing artist, only 57, lost.

But her spirit lives on in every gorgeous creation.

Thank you for your visit, Debby. I did not know Hannie personally. She was an artist that I discovered many years ago..an idol, really. I kept photos of her work around me during my sculpting years. She inspired me and countless others.
