SKETCHING IN THE NEST

The great thing about Friday or Saturday night sketching is that I am not
continuously glancing at the clock........

counting back hours to 'wake up time'.

I didn't spend more time with it, there is just an added deliciousness
to the process.

I did not add color until this morning after a leisurely,
warm my hands (since it's
only 63 in the nest after a very chilly night) cup of delicious coffee....

...not until I lit a
cozy fire,
played with the rascally cat,
and scanned the still wet back yard.

It's a gray, somewhat cold, all the lights are on at 10 a.m. kind of day.

And I can love it

because it is NOT raining.

=^..^= Fay Rella

I did not know ... But of course I should have.
That you like to sketch ... To capture your faeries.
Another likeness about us.

I however, adore the rain. (You do not?)
::sigh:: Showers outside pattering upon the windows ... A hot cup of tea, wax graphite pencils in my little box next to an endless stack of canson paper, and a corgi curled at my feet with a kitten.

.::bliss::.

The only thing that makes it better is if there is
a big pot of soup simmering and fresh bread cooling. And of course, no need for a roofer.

::Hoping:: you are warm and dry.
Kisses to Morgan ...
=^..^= love, zU
