under the twinkling of lights...
beside a golden nest..
this little fae reveals the name..
on this, the most magical of nights.

Marianne wrote of her joy:

The most recent moment which awakened joy in me was last Friday evening when my now 21 year old son came home for a brief moment before rushing out again. I took to opportunity to tell him about the children's book series I'm working on, and began describing the adventure of Penelope Pumperschnook. He was laughing; genuinely and visually delighted even though it was a children's story. When his face lit up, I could see that spark of child-like joy that he had so many years ago. Watching his face brought back memories, and warmed my heart to be able to share this with him.

I believe that the reason children (no matter what age) can jolt the 'joy compass', is because the love which connects them to us is from the Source which created everything - which created Love. And being connected with that Divine Source is where real joy exists.

Thank you, once again, for your reminder of joy.

Thank you, Marianne and every one who took the time to write of
your joy.

I loved reading each one

and have printed them all

to keep in my Every Little Joy journal.

Each one of you dear friends,

Denise, Tabitha, Debi, Holly, Moriah,
Cindy, Rhonda, Dawn, Melanie, Fiona, Joanne,
Terri H., Julie Ann, Val, Mandy, Dorthe, Terri G. & Cat

who stopped by and shared with me..

with all of us..

have brought me JOY.

Thank you from my heart.

Congrats to Marianne! Thank you for sharing her story with us Rella! It's so true, that love that connects us. I love the idea of keeping a joy book. Could you share that with us one day? And know the joy you bring me through your friendship. Off to plug in my fairy lights, lol. xoxo Rhonda...t

Oh, My Goodness!!Thank you, Rella.
I am so happy to be the winner of a most beautifully inspired piece of creativity, and reminder to find joy in our everyday moments.

When I saw the heart in completion it gave me a warm feeling inside. The collage of materials and calming colors are simply lovely.

It will have an honored place in my home, and always be a reminder of the beautiful women I have met here in blogdom.

Thank you, again...blessings,

I've had those same moments in time with my adult children. It's as if you could see the child in them that was so pure and sweet way back when thy were small. It happened to me several years ago when one of my daughters had a horriable compound fx. of her shoulder and arm from a huge fall at work. When I got to the ER there was something about her that looked about7 or 8 years old.My heart melted.
